The aim of the project is to repurpose the Grade II listed former police station, now surplus to the needs of the police, into a hotel with 219 rooms, conserving its most significant features. The building will retain the original façade to Snow Hill, the entrance foyer and staircase in the Snowhill Block, together with the Reading Room and the main staircase connecting the basement and the 1st floor level within the Cock Lane block. In addition to this, public access will be provided into its most significant interiors: the atrium used as a gallery exhibition space about the history of the police station; Reading Room and restaurant/cafe.
