We were invited by Lewes District Council to put in for tender to refurbish a small community project in Lewes with an estimated budget of £400K.
This included an emphasis on providing sustainable/green technologies where possible and provide the centre with more community space.
The proposal introduced alterations to external areas such as new cladding, a new entrance space that would be easily recognisable to visitors, rationalising of circulation spaces, extended storage, providing better light quality to internal spaces and addressing internal damp and water ingress problems.
