Stephen brings a broad range of experience across different sectors, with a real passion for the hospitality industry. He’s known for his ability to tackle complex, financially tight projects—especially those involving historic and listed buildings—and turn them into successful developments. Stephen has a knack for spotting opportunities where others might not, and his portfolio includes everything from the restoration of the Grade I listed Blackpool Tower to helping bring the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter—England’s oldest hotel—back to life after a major fire.
Since joining the Axiom Exeter team, Stephen has already worked on a variety of well-known hotel brands, including Premier Inn, Hilton, Hilton DoubleTree, and Radisson Blu, mainly focusing on early-stage work like feasibility studies and pre-app planning.
When he’s not working, you’ll probably find Stephen under the bonnet of one of his classic cars or down at the beach with his family, enjoying everything Devon has to offer.
