Conor joined Axiom Architect’s Exeter office in September 2023, and has worked on a number of projects in the hospitality sector, including the St Martin’s Lane Hotel rooftop extension, Dorchester Premier Inn, and a number of challenging Premier Inn extension and conversion schemes.
Conor studied his Part 1 at Kingston University London, and his Part 2 at the University of Liverpool, winning the P S Tyson Prize, Swedish Wood Timber Prize, and was a finalist for the 2022 3DReid Student Prize.
He has a vested interest in materiality and in modern vernacular architecture, utilising traditional materials in a contemporary manner. He is also a proponent of retaining and re-using existing buildings, adapting them for modern use with modern technology, whilst retaining their existing character.
Outside of the office, Conor is a keen gym-goer, hiker, and guitarist. He is currently studying his Part III, and is preparing to take his final exam next year.
