Robert is a talented Project Architect and team leader with a combination of design skills and technical competency, which make him a true all-rounder. Robert grew up in the South West and moved to London to study at Kingston University, achieving a BA Hons and PG Diploma in Architecture. After a number of years working in London he joined Axiom and returned to the South West where he completed his Part 3 at UWE.

He has extensive experience working in a range of sectors; Residential, Student housing, Higher Education, Commercial and Hospitality. Most notably he led the successful planning stages for the redevelopment of Camberwell College of Art for the University of the Arts London.

Since joining the practice in 2015 he has largely been immersed in hotel and restaurant projects for our core clients, delivering successful projects on some challenging sites from feasibility to completion. Robert has successfully led some high-profile commercial developments in sensitive, town centre conservation areas across the South West.

Robert's drive and ambition has been recognised within the profession with a place on the longlisting for the 2020 RIBA Rising Star Award and as a finalist in the South West Property Awards 2021 Rising Star category. Being a keen cyclist, he regularly utilises two wheels to engage with fellow construction professionals, including riding the 1500km from London to MIPIM in 2018 with Club Peloton, a challenge he would like to repeat.
